Enough talk of quantum mechanics and DNA. « Let's talk about sex baby ». SeX is all about ChaRM, another translation of NaSaʔ : to aPPeaL, to PReFeR, to SeDuCe in the story of Esther, ʔeṢTeR in Hebrew. Esther was the FaVoRite of King Assuerus, ʔaḥaShVeRowSh, who chose her to replace VaShTiy, after her ReFuSal to PeRFoRM a LaSCiVious DaNCe during an oRGy. The story of Esther is again, of course, a sex story.
To prefer in Arabic is ʔaÇaR which is featured in another of the fundamental suras 87 ʔaʕLaʔ in verse 16: « But you prefer (tuwÇiRuwna) the life of this world. » « Yes and ʔaÇaR is also Purple 🟣 and Black ⚫ » What's that, Polisson? Oh, all right, but don't interrupt me like that, I was in FuLL SWing here. Where was I? Oh yes, the need to build DeSiRe and aRouSe PaSSion.
For WoMeN, this arousal often haPPeNs in the middle of the MeNSTRual CyCLe, at the eSTRadiol PeaK. Estradiol is a FeMaLe sex hoRMoNe, an oeSTRogen - derived from oeSTRus in Latin and oiSTRos in Greek - which mean desire, passion, FuRy, but also a bad horsefly STinG. Oestrus is another wonderful example of « ShaTaRa » fusion - but we'll come back soon to the menstrual cycle, a key element of Paleolithic linguistics.
In the meantime, desire and LoVe are everywhere in the great texts of Antiquity. Starting with the Gathas, in Chant 11:
I am well aware, O Mazda, of my inability and insignificant possessions. My wealth is small and my friends and well wishers few in number. To Thee I appeal, O Ahura, like a beloved who expects love, kindness and perfect bliss from his lover. Let me enjoy the might of love and good thought, O my Lord, through Asha, the eternal law of truth and purity. »
For Lao Tzu, desire is of course ambivalent, as for the Judeo-Christian tradition, where one’s desires (also NaSaʔ) must be DoMeSTicated, as in Proverbs 19.18 « And do not desire his death ». « ʔaL tiSaʔ NaFSheKa » or in Hosea 4.8 « And long for their wrongdoing » « yiSeʔuw NaFShow ». Or with Ṣeʕah the RuShing wind of Psalms 55.9.
However, unlike desire, love is always a favorite, even for Lao Tzu, notably in this beautiful passage from the 57th Chant: « For deep love helps one to win in the case of attack, And to be firm in the case of defense. When HeaVeN is to save a person, Heaven will protect him through deep love ». And how can I talk about looooove without reading the famous passage from chapter 15 of the Gospel according to Saint John, the one announcing the coming of the Paraklet:
As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you. Now remain in my love. If you keep my commands, you will remain in my love, just as I have kept my Father’s commands and remain in his love. I have told you this so that my JoY may be in you and that your joy may be complete. My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you. Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s FRieNDs. You are my friends if you do what I command. This is my command: Love eaCh oTheR.
By now you know that the love we're referring to is true love. FuLL of desire. And the Qur'an concurs with Shahawa, the desire both for FooD, especially FRuiT, but also CaRnal desire - often associated with homosexuality. And this brings me back to my previous video in which I related LuST to ThiRST and SiTis (thirst in Latin). The fact is that carnal desire very often conjures up the SeNSe of TaSTe - and vice versa. And the PuSSy is always akin to a MouTh, as we'll see in a moment.
Regarding the Qur’ran, a magnificent passage in Sura 12 yuwSuF recounts how women, overcome with desire at the SiGhT of Joseph (yowṢeF)'s beauty, cut their hands exclaiming « ḥaʔSha liL!ahi » (mistranslated as « God forbid » when it’s more like « God in Heaven! »)
aNiMals also FeeL desire, for example tayiSh the MaLe GoaT, which I've already stated as the archetype of male lust and desire, and which indulges in CaPRiCes, (from CaPeR, the Latin word for goat). A caprice is an action MoTiVated by desire. Animal desire also appears in Genesis 30.40-41 with QiShaR aRDoR, when Jacob arouses eWes in HeaT using STiCks. The female CaMel is another desire-FiLLed animal, especially when in heat ʕiShaʔRu, once more in the foundational Sura 81 At taKwyR.
Excuse me? They're not in heat, they’re at « FuLL TeRM »? Hmm, I doubt it very much: camels can give BiRTh on their own, whereas they need someone when they're alone and in heat. What is more, MaTing is mentioned 3 verses further on, and then in Sura 4 An NiSaʔ!ʔ (of women) ʕaʔShiRuwhun!a features in the 19th verse, referring to the cohabitation of men and women.
Now, I hear you pointing out the Paraklet’s DiRTy MiND; our Paleolithic ancestors were the same. But let's not forget BaShaRa (to have a sexual intercourse). Wait a minute, what's wrong with you, Polisson? You’re totally excited! « At last! To charm is also Black ⚫, BaShaRa and ʕaShaRa are also Yellow 🟡, just like QiShaR which in addition is also Brown 🟤 »
